Cosmetic Lip Tattoo.
Cosmetic lip tattooing is not a new trend! During the ancient age, this
form of art was practiced by women particularly in ancient Africa and
the Mediterranean regions. But the modern era has seen the rise of women
who perform this procedure to make their lips more attractive and in
order to enhance their beauty. There are various designs which are
available for inking tattoos on to your lips. Some of the benefits of a
cosmetic lip tattoo include hiding problematic areas and making thick
lips appear thinner. Technically, it is still a form of scarification
but is non-invasive unlike other forms of plastic surgery. In this
method, technology is used to regenerate the existing outline and
redefine the shape of the lips. This way you can also opt for a
permanent lip color and make your lip curves more sensuous. For this
reason, cosmetic lip tattooing is also known as a 'permanent lip liner'.
Cosmetic lip tattoos are therapeutic in a way because victims suffering
from oral cancer or excessive depigmentation due to chemotherapy can be
treated. Read the section below for a preview on the method and risks.
Cosmetic Lip Tattooing
- The method of cosmetic lip tattoos is the same as any other form of tattooing. It is done with the help of a tattoo gun which doles out the biocompatible inks on to the area to be tattooed. The color used in this procedure is made of either of iron oxide or titanium dioxide pigments. Manual tattooing is also available but it is time consuming.
- If you are deciding on getting a lip tattoo, it becomes your duty to consult a professional. They usually recommend stoppage of nicotine so as to minimize any chances of swelling or bleeding. There might be allergic reactions involved in response to the pigments applied. Cosmetic tattooing is not safe for those who are suffering from herpes simplex viral infection. Here, the patients are highly prone to an outbreak of sores that can leave scars on your face. If you are addicted to the intake of drugs or suffering from some other disease then a lip tattoo is hardly a thing to consider getting. Consult a cosmetologist first!
- There is a risk of infection if certain precautions are not taken. For example, after tattooing you can see the enlarged region for atleast a week. This can be reduced with the regular use of ice over it. You may face the problem of eating as your lips will not cooperate with this painful procedure. Choose liquid supplements to avoid any chances of infection. Oral sex is not suggested during this time precisely for the reason of infectivity.
- Although the pigments used are permanent, they may fade away after some time. All kinds of light, especially sunlight can decrease the colors of a lip tattoo. Regular touchups can prevent this from happening. Hence it is always advised that you select natural colors. Take proper and good care of your lips by regularly using a lip balm containing SPF. This prevents them from chapping and drying too.
- Beware of age lines around your lips! If you have any of these then get rid of them before inking yourself. After a cosmetic lip tattoo, avoid biting your lips or touching them. Keep in mind the safety and hygiene involved before, after and during the method of cosmetic lip tattooing.
There are some dangers associated with the concept
cosmetic lip tattooing. So it is highly advisable that before opting for
it, consult an expert.

Make-Up Tips For All Ages Groups.
As you grow older, the mirror on the wall seems to be getting harsher on
you! Not many of us realize that the skin is an external indication of

disheartening, growing old is a natural process that should be dealt
with a positive attitude. Once you accept the fact that this is a normal
occurrence, you will see the brighter side to your age! Have you always

Guide to Perfumes & Fragrances
- With over a hundred different perfumes on the shelf, you are probably puzzled by which one to choose or which one suits you best. Before the actual purchase, be clear on what kind of scent you are looking for. For example, if you like natural smells then pick something along the lines of tea tree or fruity flavours.
- Don't be swayed by brands, fancy packaging or your favorite celebrity on the cover! Remember that your scent has to represent your personal style. Choose wisely by keeping in mind your budget as perfumes can be overly priced.
- Avoid trying out too many fragrances at the same time. Chances are that you will be further confused and this might deter your selection process. Ideally it has been suggested not to try out more than four at a time. Sniff coffee beans, between testing, to sort your nasal buds out!
- Feel free to interact with the salesperson and let them know about your preferences because in most stores you will find fragrance experts, who might have adequate knowledge on what you are looking for.
- Not many of us are aware that the true characteristic of a perfume surfaces only a few minutes after it is sprayed on. Once you have finalized on a particular fragrance, ask for a tester and dab a little on the corners of your wrist (they are known to smell different on skin and on paper).
- After going through various retail outlets and online, you have to know the right way to use a perfume since there are chances of evaporation! Make sure your favourite fragrance lasts for the longest time on your body by learning some of the tips of its application.
- It is usually believed that a scent stays longer on oily skin rather than the dry skin. Others believe that the pulse point in your body is the best areas to apply it. Squirting a little on the back of your wrist, in your cleavage or just below your ear lobes are other places of usage.
- Try making use of a bathing soap, moisturizer or a body lotion that has a similar aroma as that of your fragrance. This helps in retaining the strong scents on your body for longer hours.
Everyone has a distinctive perfume and fragrance that underlines their best attribute. So what's yours?
Beauty Secrets & Tips.
With an increasing pressure on women to look good everywhere they go,
many of them are lost and eagerly looking for guidance. With hundreds of
products in the market, it can be an overly confusing and tedious task
to make the right choices. You have probably spent hours surfing the
internet and rummaging through several beauty magazines. Are you still
unable to find a cosmetic item that is suitable for you? Sounds
familiar! Sometimes, too much information on beauty can mislead your
decision making process. Talking of trade secrets, it might just be your
grandma's simple advice that works and not a fancy professional's
suggestions. The basic deal is to understand your requirements and
obtain fabulous results! Stay away from glossy cosmetic packages and
convincing salespersons and read some of these handy tips that aim to
satisfy your desire to be beautiful and also busting a few myths that
you are unaware of.
Professional Tips From Beauty Experts.
- The most famous misconception that many women have is that they need a good foundation for a flawless skin, irrespective of their skin types. It must be remembered that if you have acne, there should be no excessive makeup. A regular concealer, tinted moisturizers and compact powder will do the trick.
- Younger women should stay away from darker hues of blush as it only adds brightness to the already glowing skin. Again, use them only when absolutely necessary. Natural skin is any day more attractive than getting dolled up. Try to keep it simple by using eyeliners and a nude lip gloss.
- Petroleum jelly can easily get rid of chapped or dry lips and keep them soft and kissable all year long! It also comes with other benefits such as being the lubricant in removing eye makeup. Spread a generous quantity over your brows before wiping them off with cotton.
- A simple secret is never to dye your hair completely black as it usually ends up looking like a bad hair job. Retain its original colour and go in for lighter/darker streaks. On the other hand, try not to overdo it with shades that are too much lighter than the original colour.
- Every celebrity has their personal hairstylist. They are employed to work day and night in order to achieve perfection. But not everyone can afford the same. Hence, you must choose a hairdo that compliments your facial structure as well as highlights your best feature. If you prefer to play it safe, then opt for layers as it suits all hair types.
- You don't need every product that is sold in the market! Pick one according to your necessity and suitability. Discuss its usage and sensitivity with your friends. The best way to try out something new without splurging is by picking up a sample at a promotion.
- Sun bathing is a great way to get that natural tanned look. Still believe this? Don't! As the harsh UV rays can severely damage your skin causing skin cancers, despite using a sunscreen lotion. The best way to get a bronzed look is to use a tan spray, which is easily available at all retail outlets.
- Another well kept secret is the frequency of regular manicures and pedicures. But, make sure that you keep your feet clean from dirt and grease by using a good scrub and a pumice stone. File and clip your nails often so that you reduce the risk of injuring yourself and a sense of cleanliness is maintained.
- Scrubs are a great commodity that can be used on dry skin especially during the winter. Investing on one of these is the best way to get rid of dead cells and skin. Lather on a good amount of moisturizer to retain its good health. Be careful of the complications and hazards that makeup can pose to your delicate skin!
These are some trade secrets, which are not secrets anymore! So, make sure that you use them and give us your beauty feedback.
